One of my highlights of 2010 was participating in Julia Kay’s Portrait Party on Flickr. Since March I have created 102 portraits using my iPhone, iPad, and pencil on paper. It was wonderful to meet and draw some of the other artists in the group last October in NYC at the Highline.
This is a digital collage of fellow Fingerpainter Greg Durrett for Julia Kay’s Portrait Party. I used the Toonpaint and addLib apps to create the portraits and then created the collage using the Brushes app. One of my favorite aspects of addLib is how it generates random words for each picture.
This is a digital collage using several iPhone and iPad apps. It began with a Hipstamatic photo which was modified with PictureShow on my iPhone. Then I used addLib and Brushes on my Ipad to create the collage.

This is a digital collage of Acey I created for Julia Kay’s Portrait Party. I thought that Acey’s photos really lent themselves to using Toonpaint because they were already very graphic.
