There was a wonderful Giant Robot at the Steampunk World’s Fair this month in New Jersey. I like to imagine that the robot followed me home and took residence in my garden.

I was fortunate to have my photo taken by Babette Daniels at the Steampunk World’s Fair last weekend. You can view a gallery of more of her photos from that weekend here. I love her vibrant colors and the way the subjects show off their costumes in such creative ways.
I was fortunate to visit Grounds for Sculpture in Hamilton, New Jersey on Mother’s Day. We went to see the Forever Marilyn Sculpture that was part of the Seward Johnson Retrospective.
This was my first visit to the sculpture park and I was regretting never having visited there before now. The park is amazingly beautiful, with sculpture after sculpture in a breathtaking landscape. The park is 42 acres and has over 270 sculptures, so you can visit multiple times and see many different things on each trip.
Over the weekend I had the honor of showing my artwork at the Steampunk World’s Fair in New Jersey. I had a great time and was able to photograph some really amazing people, which I will be posting soon. Some of the highlights were watching Frenchy and the Punk perform, watching burlesque performers, seeing an aerialist, so many amazing vendors, stepping into the Tardis, and most of all the imaginative costumes!
