Having a BLAST in Teaneck, New Jersey

BLAST Gallery in NJ

Today I went to the Grand Opening of BLAST Gallery in Teaneck, New Jersey.   I just found out about the gallery from a great write up in our local newspaper on Wednesday and was excited about seeing it in person.

BLAST Gallery

The Gallery is located at 445A Cedar Lane and was originally a pizza place and a taxi stand.

Jad Fair @ BLAST Gallery

The inaugural exhibit is the artwork of Jad Fair, the lead singer of the rock band Half Japanese.

Toys at Blast Gallery

In addition to the artwork there are a variety of wonderful and quirky toys, jewelry, clothing and books.

Sarah Jack @ BLAST Gallery

Sarah Jack, along with Scott Harris are the owners of BLAST Gallery.

I’m really looking forward to the upcoming events and exhibits, especially Daniel Johnston and Mark Mothersbaugh.  Here’s wishing Sarah and Scott success at BLAST Gallery!
